Day 82 – Getting close to 3 months now. What did I do today? Participated in the Abs & Stretching class with Chris Scherrer. As always, we begin by stretching and waking up the muscles with a variety of moves and stretches. Then it’s right into the ab work: 1 round of ab crunches, then 1 round of side ab crunches on each side. Follow this up with leg lifts and tree climbers. Mix in 1 minute of planks in 10 second intervals quickly followed by 30 seconds of side planks on each side. Doesn’t sound like a grueling workout, but it all adds up at the end of the day. After the class, finished off my workout with 15 minutes on the exercise bike, doing the Hill Plus setting on level 13 most of the time, with 5 minutes on level 16. I am certainly feeling like I used some muscles today – still recovering from Friday’s grueling workout, but feeling great!
