Day 4: Back to the fitness center for more cardio and conditioning. I opted to hold off on a session with Shaun until Friday morning, just to keep my body in rhythm. So, in by 7AM to pump the bikes, throw the medicine ball around, and do some of the core training Shaun had showed me previously. And not a bad day overall – pumped 11 miles on the bikes, and did some running training as well. I burned over 400 calories on the bikes alone – and surely more from the additional exercises.
Yeah, I was feeling it a bit – especially after lifting some of the weights. I tried doing some shoulder presses and using the “Hammer” machine. Boy did I learn where my strength is WEAK!
Diet has been consistent as well – I have been maintaining a food diary daily, and eating every 3-4 hours. It has taken a lot of perseverance and strength to stay away from the bad things I used to have in my diet. I have given up soda, coffee, and fast foods completely – and not been tempted to have any!
